Text Messaging (SMS) Terms & Conditions
These terms describe the text-message (SMS) program operated by VV Pedi Consults PLLC, doing business as Care & Cure Pediatrics (“we”, “us”, “our”). By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information involved.
1 · Program description
We send text messages to the parents and guardians of established patients for care- and account-related purposes only: appointment reminders and confirmations, secure check-in links, notices that a billing statement is ready, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
2 · How to opt in
Enrollment is optional and is never a condition of your child’s care. We text you only if you have told us you want us to, and by providing your mobile number for that purpose.
3 · How to opt out
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. After you opt out we send one confirmation message and then stop, though we may still contact you by other means about your child’s care and your account.
4 · Help
Reply HELP to any message to receive our practice name and office telephone number, or contact us at 972-893-1192 or info@cacpeds.com.
5 · Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your child’s appointments and your account activity.
6 · Cost
We do not charge you for these messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
7 · Carriers
Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s capabilities. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8 · Privacy
We share your mobile number only with the telecommunications provider that delivers our messages, and with no one else for this purpose. Mobile telephone numbers and text-message consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes, and are not shared with anyone for marketing purposes of any kind. 9 · Not for emergencies
This number is not monitored for urgent matters. Do not use text messages to report a medical problem or an emergency. For medical concerns call the office at 972-893-1192; in an emergency, dial 911.
10 · Content of messages
Our messages are brief and contain no medical details — no diagnosis, reason for visit, test result, or amount owed.
11 · Changes
We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page.
